Moving.

Hey guys. I moved. Shocking enough to make it here. The other day (while still without internet) I realized that I hadn't posted since the iPhone 5 came out. I even neglected to post on the last school dance (5 out of 10. Meh.). So I painstakingly waited until the router was working, and now I'm here. It was a giant project, eating up a month of prep time and four or so pre-move trips. Most of my stuff is yet to be unpacked (my fault). I've been surviving off my iTouch, Xbox, and new 60-inch smart TV (won by grandparents). Just throwing out a quick update. Should probably end before I use any more parentheses.

Later guys.

iPhone 5

So the iPhone 5 is out. In case you're wondering, it's got everything people asked for (complained about). So, that means bigger screen (taller, not wider), smaller charge port, Panorama camera option, 4G, A6 chip, thinner, lighter, faster, and a new design. A very similar yet also different one. Let me explain; now, when you order it, your color options are white/silver and black/slate. The silver/slate is a brushed aluminum section on the back. The top (around the camera), and the bottom, with Designed by Apple in California etc. etc., are still shiny glass. The edging is slightly different, and the headphones jack is on the bottom. And (and this is the most shocking part) it's cheaper. Now, the base 16 gigabyte model is $200. The 4S is $100, and the 4 is free with plan. The 3GS is no longer sold. For more info visit http://www.apple.com/iphone/.

Bye guys.

Here's a pic of the white/silver model.

iPhone 5 and iOS 6 (?)

It's September now, and for most of us that means back to school. I'm only able to bring myself to write that because it started 3 days ago so I'm resigned to it. But September is also a big month for Apple, with the next iPhone and iOS due to release sometime this month.
-iPhone
The new iPhone, presumably called the iPhone 5(or maybe the 4S and 3/4), is very controversial as per usual. Most people have the usual complaints about screen size, but I doubt that will change. Personally, I would like a new design, maybe along the lines of the Magic Mouse, but other than that I'm fine with the iPhone. The camera can't really be improved, the 4S already has a Retina display, I don't really know what else Apple could add. But I'm sure they'll bring in a load of new stuff.
-iOS
The new mobile OS, called iOS 6, is much more well known. Apple has a page set up with previews of the new operating system. It includes: Facebook integration, new Maps(designed by Apple), Siri (which for some reason will only be available on the iPhone 4S and the new iPad), Passbook (coupons, passports, and such), and more stuff I'm too lazy to find. If you want more info, go toApple.com/iOS/iOS6.

That's all I know for now. Bye.

Time tags

You'll notice that there is a time tag at the bottom of this post. It's wrong. Ignore it. I can't find the right time zone in the settings menu.

Site address change

Hey nonexistent guys,

I've realized that the address to this blog is a little bit too long. So I'm going to change it. The new address will be www.tomisnotonfire.blogspot.com. Oh wait. That's the same number of characters... Oops. Well, whatever. I am keeping it as tomisnotonfire because I DON'T EVEN CARE.

School dance

So last night we had our middle school dance. I got there early. Too early. You know you're there early when they're playing classical music. Next came a couple 60's songs, then actually relevant music. It started at around 7:30 and by 8 a decent crowd was there. The sun set also around that time so it felt more like a dance in a club or something like that. Our dj was not the best. Requests stacked up and were not always fulfilled, and his song list was a little weird, containing everything from dubstep One Direction to Spanish songs and J Lo. A lot of songs we had never heard of, but they were good for fist pumping, which is all the dancing anyone did. It was fun, evn if you were let down because your song wasn't played. I had a good time.
